Now what the heck does that mean? Does he mean justice? Does he mean someone named Justin? Where does the kid come up with this stuff?

Decor

Last year, I decided it was finally time to get rid of the icky builder's paint in the kids rooms, so I spent the whole week painting and starting to decorate their bedrooms. Once the break was over, I lost steam and didn't get back to work on the bedroom until last month. Finally, I am done enough to let the world see my masterpeices. There are a few things that still need to be done, but I'm pretty pleased with how cute they all turned out. Now, after 2 1/2 years in this house, I almost have everything decorated the way I want it. Jason just finished painting our bedroom today (which he STARTED for me for my birthday -- six months after we moved in!) and the only place that the dreaded builder's paint still exists is in my bathroom, and hopefully, that will be taken care of soon. We bought a new couch today -- one that will finally replace the embarrassingly beat up and non-coordinating one we currently have. I've never lived in a house for more than 3 years. As we reach that appointed hour this year, hopefully all the work I've just finished will keep me from getting itchy feet and wanting to move again. I'm tired!

Family Pictures

I found the Look-a-like meter out you see below at myheritage.com. It was kind of a fun little tool, but I found it very interesting that all my kids look either equally like me and Jason or more like me when clearly Brendan, Dani and Emily are far more Restuccia than Rush! So much for computer analysis!

Amy -- if you read this, has Mike checked out this myheritage site? The family tree tool is really cool. I still dream of getting a look at all his geneology stuff someday!

Emily: Well, what if DADDY wanted to be president?
Me: Daddy doesn't WANT to be president!
Emily: I do!
Dani: I want to be president too!
Evan: I want to be.... one of those guys..... with the suits..... at church.....
Me: A missionary?
Evan: No... they wear the suits... and they're on the big stand...
Jason: The guys that bless the sacrament?
Evan: No. With the suits!
Me: The Bishop?
Evan: No!
Jason: Then you must mean a missionary.
Evan: No, better than a missionary! They talk... in the suits...
Me: An apostle?
Evan: No
Me: The prophet?
Evan: Yeah! I want to be the prophet!
