Wyoming Leg
Within a few hours of finishing our race, we loaded up and headed to Jackson Hole, Wy with the Rush clan. Jason has long held the opinion that Wyoming was a waste of a state and no one actually lives there -- they just register their cars there. Of course, the only part of WY that we have ever seen was the ugly part that you have to drive through to get to Utah from Chicago. Boy, did he fall in love with Jackson Hole! We camped and hiked in the Tetons, toured Yellowstone, did a little river rafting -- me and the kids, the scenic kind; Jason, the white water kyaking kind, saw some singing cowboys, rode the Alpine Slide at King Snow Resort, saw a little Oklahoma in one of the cute Jackson Hole theaters and generally played with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Thanks to Grandpa for making the trip possible! He has the BEST ideas!

Jason started making me be in pictures to prove that I was on the vacation. I wasn't happy about it -- I vastly prefer the behind the camera position, but here I am at Yellowstone.
There are more pictures of other Wyoming stuff, but they're on Rachel's camera and I haven't begged her to email them to me yet. Perhaps I'll post them later.
